AI News Robot Anchor — meet Nova

Nova is a friendly robot with light-up eyes and a mouth made of equalizer bars that dance with your voice. Put her in the news studio, paste this week's AI or tech headlines, record, and you have a news-anchor segment without stepping in front of a camera.

A robot host for AI and tech news

AI news and tech explainers are a fast-growing faceless niche, and a robot anchor is a natural fit: it matches the topic, it is instantly recognisable in a feed, and nobody expects a robot to have your face. Nova's mouth is made of light, so instead of lips she shows an equalizer that follows the loudness and sounds of your voice — a look viewers read as 'synthetic' even though the voice is yours.

She has hands for gestures, seven expressions (her eyes change shape) and several colour schemes. For a weekly news format, use the news studio scene with a breaking-news bar template underneath; for a calmer science explainer, the space scene works well.

How it works

  1. Paste your script. Nova reads it from a karaoke-style teleprompter.
  2. Record your voice in the browser, or upload an MP3, WAV or M4A.
  3. Pick a scene, framing and subtitles, then download the video.

Tips for a credible news-style channel

Credibility is everything in news: say where a story comes from, separate facts from your opinion, and date your videos — AI moves weekly. Add a 'not financial advice' card on market segments; the money templates include one.

Use the same colour scheme and scene every episode so the format is recognisable. Pair Nova with a lower third for the headline and a ranking or chart template for numbers. If you want a human-looking anchor instead, the Narrator character can be customised.

Questions

Is Nova an AI voice generator?
No. Nova speaks with your own recorded voice; nothing is generated by AI. If you prefer a synthetic voice, you can make it elsewhere and upload the MP3, WAV or M4A.
Can I put Nova over my own news footage?
Yes. Export her on a green screen or as a transparent .mov (up to 30 seconds), or use the corner badge framing, and place her over your footage in the editor.
Can I monetize an AI news channel with a robot anchor?
Yes, the video file is yours to publish and monetize. What YouTube's Partner Program does not pay for is inauthentic content: mass-produced or repetitive uploads with little original work. Your own script, voice and point of view are what make a channel eligible, not the drawing.
