Make your subscribe button

Button color

The checkerboard is the transparent part: only the button ends up on top of your video.

Step-by-step guide: How to add a subscribe button in CapCut →An animated subscribe button with your channel name and a transparent background, on desktop and on the phone. No green screen.

What it makes

Every preview is a real template from the AnimateMyVideo library, not a GIF: a cursor clicks Subscribe and it turns into Subscribed, a thumb gets a like with a burst of particles, the bell rings. Your name is drawn inside the animation, so it stays sharp at any size.

In the editor you can also change the button labels, the color, the position, the size and the format: 16:9 for regular videos, 9:16 for Shorts, TikTok and Reels, or 1:1. Always in Full HD.

Transparent background, no green screen

Most free subscribe buttons are green screen clips: you key out the green and then fight the fringe around the edges. These export as a ProRes 4444 .mov with a real alpha channel, so the button sits on top of your footage with clean edges and soft shadows. If your editor can't read transparency, export an MP4 with your own clip behind it instead.

How to use it in your editor

CapCut

  1. On desktop, drag the .mov to a track above your clip. On the phone, use Overlay → Add overlay.
  2. If your app shows a black background, export «with your clip» and use the MP4 as your video.

Premiere Pro

  1. File → Import the .mov and drag it to V2, above your footage on V1.
  2. Move, scale or trim it like any clip: the transparency is kept.

DaVinci Resolve

  1. Import the .mov into the Media Pool and place it on Video 2, above your clip.
  2. If you see black instead of your clip: right-click → Clip Attributes → Alpha Mode: Premultiplied.
